I'm a PC gamer and working on being a podcaster.

Over the years PCs went from pieced together kits with driver conflicts to easy to use and powerful gaming computers.

This is the website for James Glaser, aka jimvideo.

I first used the name jimvideo to connect to BBSs around San Diego in 1989. PCs were gaining popularity for hosting BBSs and WWIV was software that limited users to 8 characters, thus 8 letters in jimvideo. The free monthly magazine Computer Edge. Despite the IBM-PC being introduced in 1981 most BBSs in 1989 used the Commodore 64. The old BBS list often included which computer, but not often what software, the BBS was running.
